Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, and onboard seasonal and temporary agricultural laborers.
- Coordinate transportation for workers to and from job sites.
- Oversee housing arrangements and provide meals for laborers as required.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of labor hours, payroll, and worker documentation.
- Manage daily labor operations to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Conduct training sessions on safety protocols and best agricultural practices.
- Foster a positive work environment and address any worker concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Farm Labor Contractor or in a similar agricultural management role.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements in the agriculture industry.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in payroll processing and labor management software.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Understanding of agricultural practices and crop cycles.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
