Job Brief

As a Facilities Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and coatings to various surfaces, including walls, equipment, buildings, and bridges. This role requires a keen eye for detail and an understanding of color mixing and application techniques. Ideal candidates should have experience in commercial or industrial painting, strong knowledge of safety procedures, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Proficiency with brushes, rollers, and spray guns is essential to ensure high-quality finishes and adherence to project timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces by removing old paint, sanding, and cleaning to ensure optimal adhesion.
  • Mix paints and primers to achieve desired colors and consistency.
  • Apply paint, stain, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.
  • Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make touch-ups as necessary.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
