Job Brief
The Export Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the distribution and movement of products or services to international customers. Responsibilities
- Plan and implement effective export strategies to maximize sales and expand market reach.
- Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
- Analyze sales statistics to identify sales potential and inventory requirements.
- Monitor customer preferences and market trends to inform product adjustments and promotional strategies.
- Develop and conduct training programs for sales representatives to enhance performance and product knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and documentation requirements.
- Manage relationships with distributors, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in export management or international sales.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and documentation processes.
- Proficient in sales analytics tools and CRM software.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed for business development and client meetings.
