Job Brief

As an Environmental Epidemiologist, you will investigate and analyze the relationships between environmental factors and public health outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Conduct epidemiological studies to assess the impact of environmental exposures on health outcomes.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets using statistical software to identify trends and correlations.
  • Develop and implement research methodologies that comply with ethical standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with public health officials, researchers, and community stakeholders to promote health initiatives.
  • Prepare technical reports, scientific publications, and presentations to disseminate research findings.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of health programs and environmental policies.
  • Stay updated on emerging environmental health issues and relevant scientific literature.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Environmental Health, or related field.
  • Proven experience in epidemiological research and data analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis software (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS) and GIS mapping tools.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and public health policies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
