Job Brief
As an Engine Builder, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and rebuilding high-performance engines and machinery utilized in various industries, including construction, extraction, textiles, and paper manufacturing. Responsibilities
- Construct and assemble engines and related machinery according to specifications and industry standards.
- Rebuild and repair engines, turbines, and other mechanical systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of engines to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Utilize various hand and power tools to perform assembly and repair tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize engine performance and design improvements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Document all assembly, repair, and maintenance work accurately for quality assurance and compliance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in engine building or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an Engine Builder or in a similar mechanical assembly role.
- Strong knowledge of engine components and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment used in engine repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license may be required depending on job location.
