As an Employee Benefits Manager, you will oversee the development, implementation, and administration of company compensation and benefits programs. Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and compensation plans.
- Analyze market trends to ensure competitive compensation and benefits offerings.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to employee benefits.
- Conduct regular audits of existing programs to assess effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
- Collaborate with finance and legal teams to manage budget and contractual obligations.
- Communicate benefits information to employees and provide guidance on enrollment and claims processes.
- Implement training programs for HR staff on benefits administration and compliance issues.
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts for benefits services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits management or human resources.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits regulations, including ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Professional certification such as CEBS, PHR, or SPHR is a plus.
