Job Brief
The Emergency Medical Service Coordinator plays a crucial role in planning, directing, and coordinating medical and health services within emergency medical settings. Responsibilities
- Plan and implement emergency medical service programs and protocols.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, first responders, and public health officials.
- Monitor and evaluate emergency response operations for compliance and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain training programs for EMS personnel.
- Manage budgets, resources, and staffing for emergency medical services.
- Ensure adherence to state and federal healthcare regulations and standards.
- Conduct data analysis and generate reports on service performance and outcomes.
- Act as a liaison between emergency services and healthcare facilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, emergency management, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency medical services or healthcare coordination.
- Strong knowledge of emergency medical protocols and healthcare regulations.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in data management and reporting software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
