Job Brief
The Electronic Wirer is responsible for assembling and modifying electrical and electronic equipment, including computers, test equipment, telemetering systems, electric motors, and batteries. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical wiring techniques, components, and safety protocols. Ideal candidates will possess hands-on experience in electronics assembly and troubleshooting, along with attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and modify electronic components and systems according to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Utilize wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately connect electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical equipment functionality.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on assembled electronic systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to improve assembly processes and product design.
- Document assembly processes and maintain accurate records of modifications and repairs.
- Adhere to industry standards and safety regulations while working on electrical equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification preferred.
- Proven experience as an electronic wirer or in a similar role in the electronics industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical components, wiring techniques, and electronic assembly processes.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools and equipment used in electronic wiring.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
