Job Brief
As an Electrogalvanizing Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining plating machines that coat metal or plastic products with chromium, zinc, copper, cadmium, nickel, or other metals. Responsibilities
- Set up and adjust plating machines to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
- Operate electrogalvanizing equipment to coat metal or plastic products.
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrogalvanizing machinery.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards during operations.
- Record production data and maintain accurate logs of machine operations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and enhance productivity.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in manufacturing or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Electrogalvanizing Machine Operator or similar role.
- Strong understanding of electroplating processes and equipment operation.
- Familiarity with safety guidelines and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as required.
