Job Brief
The Electrician Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of electrical construction teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of electrical construction teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to facilitate workflow and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and industry regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical installations to verify quality and adherence to specifications.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, promoting skill development and safety awareness.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on project progress, safety incidents, and team performance.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in electrical systems preferred.
- Valid electrician license and relevant certifications (e.g., NICET, OSHA).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical work, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety practices, and construction methodologies.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
