Job Brief
The Electrical Sign Wirer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring and fixtures related to signage and illumination systems. Responsibilities
- Install and connect electrical wiring for signage, ensuring compliance with local and national electrical codes.
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on electrical control systems, street lights, and intercom systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues to restore functionality and safety.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of electrical installations.
- Conduct inspections on electrical components and systems to identify potential hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during installations or repairs.
- Stay updated on advancements in electrical technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Sign Wirer or in a similar electrical role.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, safety practices, and installation techniques.
- Certification or license in electrical work is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Familiarity with tools and equipment used in electrical installations and repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
