Responsibilities

- Conduct routine maintenance checks and tests to ensure optimal performance of electric wheelchairs.
- Replace faulty components, including wiring, switches, and circuit boards.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service history for each unit.
- Collaborate with clients and healthcare providers to understand specific repair needs and mobility requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mobility equipment repair.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electric Wheelchair Repairer or similar role in mobility equipment repair.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with a solid understanding of small engine mechanics.
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., electric wheelchair repair certification) preferred.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair equipment specific to electric mobility devices.
- Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment as necessary.
