Job Brief
As an Electric Golf Cart Repairer, you will be responsible for diagnosing, adjusting, repairing, and overhauling electric golf carts and related small engines. This role requires a solid understanding of electrical systems, mechanical skills, and hands-on experience in maintenance and repair. Ideal candidates will possess strong problem-solving abilities and familiarity with various tools and diagnostic equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety of electric golf carts.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues in electric golf carts and related small engines.
- Perform routine maintenance, including battery checks, fluid replacements, and tire inspections.
- Adjust and calibrate engines to manufacturer specifications for optimal performance.
- Repair or replace defective parts and components, including motors, controllers, and wiring.
- Test repaired golf carts to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs and options clearly to clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electric vehicle technology.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in small engine repair is preferred.
- Proven experience in repairing electric golf carts or similar small engine equipment.
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems, including understanding of wiring diagrams and circuit troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software for electric vehicles.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record may be required.
