Job Brief
As a Display Artist, you will be responsible for designing and erecting visually appealing commercial displays in retail environments, including storefront windows and interior spaces, as well as at trade exhibitions. This role requires a creative mind with a strong understanding of merchandising principles and visual storytelling. The ideal candidate will possess experience in display design, a keen eye for aesthetics, and proficiency in utilizing design software to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement innovative display concepts that align with brand identity and marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to strategize display placements and promotional events.
- Plan and execute the setup of displays in retail locations and at trade shows, ensuring high visual impact.
- Maintain and update displays regularly to reflect seasonal changes, new products, and promotional campaigns.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on current trends in display artistry and consumer preferences.
- Manage the inventory of display materials and coordinate with vendors for necessary supplies.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of displays and make recommendations for improvements based on sales data and feedback.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Display Artist or in a related field such as visual merchandising or retail design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous display projects and creative concepts.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of retail trends, consumer behavior, and visual merchandising principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or related field preferred.
