Job Brief
As a Discotheque Dancer, you will be responsible for performing dynamic and engaging dance routines on stage, during live events, and for video productions. This role requires a strong background in various dance styles, exceptional stage presence, and the ability to connect with the audience. Ideal candidates will have experience in dance performance and a passion for entertainment in fast-paced environments. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential for collaborating with choreographers and fellow performers.
Responsibilities
- Perform choreographed dance routines during live performances and events.
- Collaborate with choreographers to develop and refine dance performances.
- Engage and entertain audiences through captivating dance skills and stage presence.
- Participate in rehearsals to ensure accurate execution of routines.
- Maintain physical fitness and stamina to perform at a high level during extended shows.
- Adhere to costume and makeup guidelines for performances.
- Uphold professionalism and a positive attitude while on stage and backstage.
- Adapt to last-minute changes in choreography or performance details.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a dancer, preferably in a nightclub or entertainment setting.
- Strong proficiency in various dance styles such as hip-hop, jazz, or contemporary.
- Excellent physical condition and flexibility to perform demanding routines.
- Ability to memorize choreography quickly and accurately.
- Strong stage presence and ability to engage with an audience.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Basic knowledge of sound and lighting equipment is a plus.
