- Polish and finish jewelry items to enhance their visual quality and brilliance.
- Utilize various tools and techniques, including casting, modeling, and polishing, to achieve desired results.
- Collaborate with designers and clients to create bespoke jewelry pieces tailored to specific requirements.
- Inspect and appraise jewelry for quality assurance and to identify any necessary repairs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Diamond Setter or in a similar role within the jewelry industry.
- Strong knowledge of diamond setting techniques and gemology.
- Proficiency in using jewelry-making tools and equipment.
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Certification from a recognized jewelry-making or gemology institution is preferred.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
