Job Brief

As a Dance Artist, you will perform various styles of dance, showcasing your talent on stage, for broadcasting, or during video recordings. This role requires a high level of technical skill, creativity, and passion for dance. You will collaborate with choreographers, directors, and other performers to deliver captivating performances that engage audiences. A successful Dance Artist typically possesses a robust background in dance training and performance experience, along with exceptional physical stamina and artistic expression.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diverse dance styles in front of live audiences, for television broadcasts, or during video shoots.
  • Collaborate with choreographers and directors to develop and rehearse dance routines.
  • Maintain a high level of physical fitness to perform demanding choreography consistently.
  • Participate in auditions and casting calls to secure performance opportunities.
  • Engage with audiences to enhance their experience and promote the art of dance.
  • Adapt to various performance environments and styles as required by different projects.
  • Stay updated with current dance trends and techniques to continually improve performance skills.
  • Work as part of a team, supporting fellow dancers and contributing to a positive rehearsal and performance atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in dance performance, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
  • Formal training in various dance styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, or hip-hop.
  • Exceptional physical stamina and flexibility to execute complex dance movements.
  • Strong ability to learn and memorize choreography quickly.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with a creative team.
  • Availability for rehearsals, performances, and travel as required by the job.
  • Certifications in dance or related fields are a plus.
