Job Brief

As a Counterintelligence Officer/Human Source Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Operations Officer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding national security by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting intelligence from human sources. You will be responsible for conducting operations to identify, evaluate, and neutralize potential threats, while leveraging your expertise in intelligence collection and analysis. Responsibilities

  • Conduct CI/HUMINT operations to gather and analyze intelligence from human sources.
  • Identify and assess threats to national security, providing actionable intelligence to decision-makers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key informants and sources to enhance intelligence collection efforts.
  • Collaborate with other intelligence agencies and military units to share information and strategies.
  • Prepare comprehensive intelligence reports and briefings for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools and methodologies to interpret data and produce actionable insights.
  • Train and mentor junior personnel in CI/HUMINT operations and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all intelligence operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in counterintelligence or human source intelligence operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with informants and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with intelligence collection methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to operate in high-pressure environments and make quick decisions.
  • Military experience or relevant security clearance preferred.
  • Understanding of legal and ethical considerations in intelligence operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
