Job Brief
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for overseeing and optimizing an organization’s day-to-day operational functions, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement operational strategies to achieve company objectives and enhance performance.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure efficiency across all departments.
- Collaborate with the executive team to establish and execute the company’s strategic plan.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to ensure organizational health.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to drive operational excellence.
- Lead, mentor, and develop subordinate executives and management teams.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Serve as a key point of contact for the board of directors and provide regular updates on operational performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to drive results.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using project management tools and operational software.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective business strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
