Responsibilities
- Assist Continuous Miner Operators in the extraction of minerals from underground mines.
- Supply tools and equipment to skilled workers efficiently and safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure safety compliance.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions to the operator.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to promote a safe working environment.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance operational knowledge and skills.
- Support maintenance activities by cleaning and lubricating mining equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and timelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent credential.
- Basic understanding of mining operations and equipment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
