The Computer Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining computer systems, electronic office equipment, and automated teller machines. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues in computers and electronic office machines.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, including operating systems and applications.
- Perform preventive maintenance on automated teller machines and electronic office equipment.
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
- Document repair processes and maintain accurate records of service activities.
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize system performance and resolve technical challenges.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and advancements in computer systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Computer Service Technician or in a similar technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with electronic office machines, including duplicators and fax machines.
- Certification in CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent is preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
