Job Brief
As a Computer Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of computer systems and electronic office machines. This role requires an in-depth understanding of hardware and software components, as well as experience in maintaining and installing various technological devices, including automated teller machines (ATMs) and office equipment such as duplicators and fax machines. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in computers and electronic devices.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on computer systems and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and test new hardware and software components.
- Repair and replace defective components in computers and office machines.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on system usage.
- Document repair processes and maintain accurate records of repairs and services provided.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service processes and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and repair techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Computer Repair Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
- Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or similar.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills to effectively assist users and document repairs.
- Physical ability to lift and move computer equipment safely.
