Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Home Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, relocation, and maintenance of mobile homes and prefabricated buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Experience with plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC systems is essential, as well as a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Install and relocate mobile homes and prefabricated structures according to industry standards.
- Inspect and troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems for functionality and safety.
- Perform necessary repairs and maintenance on mobile homes to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with homeowners regarding technical issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations during all work activities.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to mobile home installation and maintenance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mobile home installation is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Mobile Home Technician or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
