Responsibilities

- Alter and repair existing garments to meet quality and style standards.
- Fit and adjust coats on clients, providing expert advice on style and fit.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines and client expectations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to enhance garment design and construction.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the fitting and alteration process.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Coat Cutter or in a similar garment construction role.
- Strong knowledge of fabric types, cutting techniques, and tailoring standards.
- Excellent skills in sewing, pattern-making, and garment fitting.
- Ability to interpret design sketches and technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Certification from a recognized tailoring or fashion design program is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
