Job Brief
As a Coat Checker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by managing the storage and retrieval of patrons’ personal items in locker rooms, dressing rooms, and coatrooms. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure the safe handling of items. Responsibilities
- Greet patrons upon arrival and efficiently check in their coats and personal items.
- Assign and manage lockers or coat storage to ensure easy access for customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in coatrooms and locker areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries and assisting patrons with their needs.
- Ensure the security of all items stored by following established protocols.
- Handle lost and found items according to company policies.
- Monitor coatroom or locker room traffic to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
- Assist in training new staff on coat checking procedures and customer service standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items as needed.
- Basic knowledge of safety and security protocols.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Proficient in using computer systems for tracking and inventory management.
