Responsibilities

- Oversee the integration and optimization of electronic health records (EHR) and other health information systems.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to identify and address data-related challenges and improve workflows.
- Lead initiatives to enhance data analytics capabilities for better decision-making in clinical settings.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards related to health information management.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams to promote best practices in clinical informatics and data governance.
- Provide training and support to staff on the effective use of clinical informatics tools and technologies.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in clinical informatics and healthcare IT.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical informatics or health information management.
- Strong knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare data standards.
- Proven experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
- Certification in Clinical Informatics (e.g., ABPM, CPHIMS) is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and meaningful use criteria.
