Job Brief
The Clay Mixer is responsible for setting up, operating, and tending machines to mix or blend various materials, including clay, pigments, and other raw materials. Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, and operate mixing machinery to ensure optimal performance and quality control.
- Mix and blend various materials according to specific formulas and production requirements.
- Monitor the mixing process to detect any inconsistencies and make necessary adjustments.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on mixing equipment to prevent downtime.
- Document production data and maintain accurate records of materials used and output produced.
- Comply with safety regulations and industry standards while handling materials and operating machinery.
- Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to enhance mixing processes and improve product quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Clay Mixer or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of mixing and blending processes and the ability to operate mixing machinery.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in handling materials.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure quality control.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as production schedules and mixing formulas.
- Basic mathematical skills for measuring and calculating material quantities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
