Job Brief

As a Child Abuse Worker, you will provide crucial social services and assistance aimed at enhancing the social and psychological functioning of children and their families. Responsibilities

  • Facilitate adoption processes and coordinate foster care placements for abandoned or abused children.
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers regarding behavioral issues, truancy, and other challenges faced by students.
  • Collaborate with community organizations and agencies to enhance service delivery and support networks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and case files in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to remain informed about best practices in child welfare.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Valid state certification or licensure in social work.
  • Proven experience in child welfare, social services, or a related area.
  • Strong knowledge of child development and family dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
