Job Brief

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a range of acute, episodic, and chronic illnesses in pediatric patients. This role focuses on health promotion, disease prevention, and the overall well-being of children. The CPNP will work independently and collaboratively with healthcare professionals, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients to diagnose acute and chronic health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the specific needs of children and adolescents.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging studies.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments based on clinical guidelines and patient needs.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and support.
  • Stay updated on the latest pediatric healthcare trends, treatments, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Pediatric Nursing.
  • Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) from a recognized certifying body.
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills specific to pediatric populations.
  • Proficient in interpreting diagnostic tests and formulating treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
