Job Brief
The Cellulose Insulation Helper plays a critical role in the installation of cellulose insulation in residential and commercial buildings. Responsibilities
- Assist in the application of cellulose insulation in attics, walls, and crawl spaces.
- Prepare job sites by gathering tools and materials necessary for insulation installation.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Operate insulation blowing machines and other equipment under the supervision of experienced installers.
- Conduct pre-installation inspections to assess the suitability of insulation materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment at job sites.
- Support team members in measuring and cutting insulation materials to fit specified areas.
- Learn and apply proper techniques for the effective sealing and insulating of structures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in construction or insulation installation is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of insulation materials and their applications.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments.
- Familiarity with safety standards and practices in the construction industry.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies.
- Valid driver’s license may be required for job site travel.
