Job Brief
As a Carton Wrapper, you will be responsible for efficiently packing and packaging a variety of products and materials by hand. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that products are securely packaged for distribution. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting and possess strong teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Manually pack and package products and materials into cartons according to specifications.
- Inspect products for quality assurance before packaging.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Label cartons accurately for shipping and inventory control.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Report any packaging defects or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during packaging operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in packaging, assembly, or warehouse roles is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) as required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with safety procedures in a production environment.
- Basic math skills for measuring and counting products.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime if necessary.
