Job Brief
The Cardroom Supervisor oversees and coordinates the activities of staff within assigned gambling areas, ensuring compliance with gaming regulations and the highest standards of customer service. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of card games and gaming staff to ensure seamless service.
- Monitor gaming tables to ensure compliance with regulations and operational standards.
- Verify and pay off jackpots, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Reset slot machines post-payoff and recommend repairs or removal of malfunctioning machines.
- Circulate among tables to observe gaming activities, providing support and resolving any issues.
- Plan and organize engaging activities and services for guests in the cardroom and casino.
- Conduct training sessions for new staff, focusing on customer service and gaming procedures.
- Compile reports on gaming operations, staff performance, and customer feedback to inform management decisions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification in gaming operations is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the gaming industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of gaming regulations, rules, and procedures.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with diverse clientele.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Proficient in problem-solving and conflict resolution, particularly in high-pressure situations.
- Basic technical skills to assist with slot machine adjustments and maintenance.
