Responsibilities
- Conduct financial transactions, including cash handling and credit applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established protocols.
- Verify patrons’ credit references and authorize check cashing or house credit accounts as needed.
- Reconcile daily transaction summaries to maintain accurate financial records.
- Sell gambling chips, tokens, or tickets to patrons and other employees for resale.
- Convert gambling chips, tokens, or tickets into currency upon patron request.
- Utilize cash registers or computerized systems to record and track transactions efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service while addressing patron inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Adhere to all gaming regulations and internal policies to ensure compliance and security.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in cash handling, banking, or a similar financial role.
- Strong numerical proficiency and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in transactions.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patrons and team members.
- Familiarity with gaming regulations and compliance standards.
