Job Brief

The Caddy Master is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the caddy services at a golf course, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of caddies and other recreation staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Schedule and assign caddies to golfing groups based on demand and individual caddy expertise.
  • Train and mentor caddies on golf course etiquette, customer service skills, and operational procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate caddy performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
  • Manage equipment inventory and maintain caddy-related gear, ensuring all items are in good condition.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries or complaints related to caddy services promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with golf course management to enhance caddy services and overall guest experience.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all caddy operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Caddy Master or in a similar supervisory role within the golf or recreation industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of golf operations, etiquette, and rules.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring positive interactions with guests and staff.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the golf course schedule.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing schedules and inventory.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in hospitality or recreation management are a plus.
