Responsibilities

  • Facilitate food service by preparing tables and clearing dirty dishes promptly.
  • Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and other dining areas to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Replace soiled table linens and set tables with clean silverware, glassware, and dishes.
  • Replenish supplies of linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes as needed.
  • Assist in supplying the service bar with food items and beverages.
  • Serve water, condiments, and coffee to patrons efficiently and courteously.
  • Assist servers in delivering food and drinks to tables as required.
  • Report any maintenance or cleanliness issues to management promptly.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Bus Person or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
