Job Brief

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues in bulldozers and other heavy machinery.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
  • Overhaul engines, transmissions, and other essential components as needed.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to assess machinery performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics and engineers to improve equipment functionality.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on heavy equipment.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior mechanics and apprentices as necessary.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bulldozer Mechanic or similar role in heavy equipment repair.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Technical certification in diesel mechanics or related field is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
