Job Brief
The Buffet Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless dining experience by facilitating food service in buffet settings. Responsibilities
- Facilitate food service by setting up and maintaining buffet stations to ensure a welcoming dining experience for guests.
- Clean tables and promptly remove dirty dishes to maintain a tidy and hygienic environment.
- Replace soiled table linens and ensure all tables are properly set with clean silverware, glassware, and dishes.
- Replenish supplies of linens and dining essentials to meet service demands throughout dining hours.
- Serve items such as water, condiments, and coffee to patrons to enhance their dining experience.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the service bar and buffet area, ensuring food safety standards are adhered to.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure timely food replenishment and service efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction during their dining experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as needed.
