Responsibilities
- Draft and prepare legal briefs, motions, and other documents for court proceedings.
- Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Review and analyze case materials to identify key issues and arguments.
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other legal professionals.
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously while ensuring adherence to deadlines.
- Advise clients on legal transactions and potential implications of legal actions.
- Represent clients in meetings, negotiations, and court appearances as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal trends and changes in the law.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the relevant state bar association.
- Proven experience in legal writing and research, preferably in litigation.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative legal team.
