Job Brief

As a Bread Baker, you will be responsible for mixing and baking a variety of ingredients to produce high-quality breads, rolls, cookies, cakes, pies, pastries, and other baked goods. Responsibilities

  • Mix and knead dough, ensuring proper consistency and texture for various bread types.
  • Bake a diverse range of baked goods, including artisanal breads, rolls, and pastries.
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve optimal flavor and texture.
  • Develop and test new recipes while adhering to established standards of quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking station and equipment.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure product quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
  • Train and mentor junior bakers and kitchen staff on baking techniques and best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bread Baker or in a similar role within a bakery or kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient properties, and kitchen equipment.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Creativity in recipe development and a passion for baking.
  • Certification in culinary arts or baking is a plus.
