Job Brief

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor the performance of steam boilers and associated mechanical systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on boilers and auxiliary equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure efficient operation.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations and industry standards related to boiler operations.
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and operational performance in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement upgrades and enhancements to existing systems.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Boiler Engineer or in a similar role within the mechanical engineering field.
  • Strong knowledge of boiler operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.
  • Relevant certifications, such as a boiler operator license or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems including steam engines, turbines, and generators.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various environmental conditions.
