As a Body Shop Worker, you will be responsible for repairing and refinishing automotive vehicle bodies and straightening vehicle frames to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in automotive body repair, a keen eye for detail, and strong technical skills in using specialized tools and equipment. Responsibilities

  • Perform body repairs on damaged vehicles, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
  • Assess the extent of damage to vehicle bodies and prepare repair estimates.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting and refinishing, ensuring a smooth finish and adherence to quality standards.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards before returning vehicles to customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other team members and communicate with customers regarding repair progress and options.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Body Shop Worker or similar role in automotive repair.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive body repair techniques and materials.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Certification from an automotive repair program or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools and equipment, including spray guns, sanders, and welding machines.
