Job Brief
The Boardinghouse Keeper is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a boarding house, ensuring that guests receive high-quality lodging and accommodations. This role requires a combination of management skills, hospitality expertise, and customer service proficiency. Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the boarding house, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Coordinate guest check-in and check-out processes while providing outstanding customer service.
- Oversee housekeeping and maintenance services to maintain cleanliness and functionality of facilities.
- Develop budgets and manage financial records, including tracking expenses and revenue.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure exceptional service standards are met.
- Plan and implement marketing strategies to attract new guests and retain existing ones.
- Address guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and manage vendor relationships for operational needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of lodging operations, including front desk management and housekeeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to manage budgets and financial records effectively.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various operational aspects.
- Certification in hospitality management or relevant training is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
