Job Brief
As an Aviation Electronic Warfare Operator, you will play a critical role in the successful execution of combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue missions. This position requires expertise in operating aircraft communications and detection systems, establishing satellite linkages, and disrupting enemy communications. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure, ensuring mission success and aircraft safety throughout all phases of operation.
Responsibilities
- Operate aircraft communications and detection equipment to support mission objectives.
- Establish satellite linkages and jamming techniques to counter enemy communications capabilities.
- Conduct thorough preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections of onboard electronic warfare and detection systems.
- Operate and maintain aircraft weapons and defensive systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage in-flight refueling systems and coordinate refueling operations as needed.
- Execute aircraft safety protocols and emergency procedures effectively during flight operations.
- Compute and verify weight and balance data for passengers, cargo, fuel, and emergency equipment.
- Conduct personnel and cargo drops in adherence to mission requirements and safety standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; military training in electronic warfare or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in operating aircraft communication and detection systems.
- Strong understanding of aircraft electronic warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Technical proficiency in maintaining and troubleshooting electronic warfare systems.
- Current certification in relevant aviation safety and emergency response protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in high-stress environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
- Willingness to undergo ongoing training and certification as required by mission needs.
