Job Brief
As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, diagnosing, and repairing a range of electrical systems and components in motor vehicles. Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems and components in vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnose electrical issues utilizing advanced testing equipment and tools.
- Repair and replace faulty wiring, connectors, and electrical components.
- Install aftermarket accessories such as audio systems, GPS units, and security equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures to clients.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive electrical technologies and industry trends.
- Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient service delivery and vehicle performance.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used in service management systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification preferred.
- Proven experience as an Auto Electrician or similar role in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call shifts.
