Job Brief

As an ATV Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, adjusting, repairing, and overhauling various types of motorized vehicles including all-terrain vehicles, motorcycles, scooters, and dirt bikes. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment, along with knowledge of industry standards, is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems on ATVs and similar motorized vehicles.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to enhance vehicle performance and safety.
  • Overhaul and rebuild engines, transmissions, and other critical components.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and software to assess vehicle conditions and identify issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and services performed.
  • Communicate with customers to explain repair needs and provide cost estimates.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in ATV technology.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive technology preferred.
  • Proven experience as an ATV Technician or similar role in the motorized vehicle industry.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment specific to ATV repair.
  • ASE certification or equivalent credentials are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and team collaboration.
  • Valid driver’s license; additional certifications for specialized vehicles are advantageous.
