This position involves registering and assigning rooms, managing reservations, and overseeing guest accounts. Responsibilities

  • Register and assign rooms to guests, ensuring accurate room assignments.
  • Issue room keys or cards while providing guests with essential information about the property.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including messages and reservations.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of occupied rooms and guests’ accounts to ensure seamless operations.
  • Make and confirm reservations while accommodating special requests from guests.
  • Present statements and collect payments from departing guests, ensuring accuracy in billing.
  • Assist in managing daily operations and address guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction and property upkeep.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training or certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
  • Proficient in hotel management software and reservation systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest relations.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic accounting skills for managing guest accounts and transactions.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
