Job Brief
As an Arcade Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations within the arcade, ensuring an engaging and enjoyable environment for guests. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for entertainment, and experience in managing recreational staff. You will coordinate activities, manage staff schedules, and ensure that all equipment is functioning properly, creating a safe and fun atmosphere for all visitors.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervise and coordinate activities of arcade staff and entertainment workers.
- Ensure the arcade is clean, safe, and well-maintained for all guests.
- Monitor and manage customer service interactions to maintain a high standard of guest satisfaction.
- Assist in training and developing team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Manage inventory of arcade supplies and game maintenance, reporting any issues promptly.
- Implement promotional activities to attract and retain customers.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations within the arcade environment.
- Prepare regular reports on arcade performance and staff productivity for management review.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the entertainment or recreational industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues quickly and efficiently.
- Familiarity with arcade equipment and gaming technology.
- Basic knowledge of financial management and budgeting.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality or recreation management is a plus.
