Job Brief
As an Arcade Attendant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the guest experience at our amusement and recreation facility. You will manage the operation of arcade games, assist patrons with equipment, and ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors. Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred, along with strong communication skills and a passion for entertainment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain arcade games, ensuring they are fully functional and clean.
- Assist guests with game instructions, troubleshooting equipment issues, and providing excellent customer service.
- Monitor and enforce safety regulations and facility policies to ensure guest safety.
- Schedule and coordinate the use of recreational facilities or equipment for events and parties.
- Manage amusement concessions, including cash handling and inventory management.
- Conduct regular inspections of rides and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Engage with guests to promote a welcoming atmosphere and enhance their overall experience.
- Support the setup and breakdown of special events or tournaments as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in a recreational or entertainment setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with guests.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in an amusement or recreation environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as required.
- Experience with arcade games and amusement equipment is preferred.
