Responsibilities
- Utilize embroidery digitizing software to create and modify digital embroidery designs for various apparel products.
- Collaborate with designers to accurately interpret artwork and transform it into embroidery-ready formats.
- Ensure precision and quality by conducting tests and making adjustments to designs as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in embroidery and textile design.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and production schedules.
- Provide technical support and guidance to embroidery machine operators to achieve optimal results.
- Document and maintain a library of embroidery files for future reference and reuse.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues related to embroidery machines and software to minimize downtime.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an embroidery digitizer or in a similar role within the textile or apparel industry.
- Proficiency in embroidery software such as Wilcom, Hatch, or similar programs.
- Strong artistic background with an understanding of color theory, design principles, and garment construction.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with design and production teams.
- Familiarity with various embroidery techniques and machine settings.
- A degree or certification in fashion design, textile technology, or a related field is preferred.
