Job Brief

The AOC Plans Intelligence Officer plays a critical role in managing the operation of communications, detection, and weapons systems essential for effective air, ground, and naval operations. This position requires a strong background in military operations and intelligence, with a focus on formulating and implementing emergency response plans for both natural and wartime disasters. Key skills include the ability to evaluate command center information, coordinate emergency response teams, and provide technical advice on operational readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Manage critical communication links between air, naval, and ground forces to ensure seamless operational coordination.
  • Formulate and implement emergency plans to effectively respond to natural and wartime disasters.
  • Coordinate and direct emergency response teams and agencies to facilitate rapid and effective action.
  • Evaluate and analyze command center information to identify the need for high-level military and government reporting.
  • Oversee the operation of surveillance and detection systems to enhance situational awareness and operational effectiveness.
  • Provide technical information and expert advice on capabilities and operational readiness to support military decision-making.
  • Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to ensure precision and effectiveness in military engagements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Military Science, Intelligence, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in military operations, intelligence analysis, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of communications and detection systems, as well as weapons targeting technologies.
  • Proficiency in emergency planning and crisis management, with experience in high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information quickly.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience coordinating multi-agency operations.
  • Relevant certifications in military operations, intelligence, or emergency management are a plus.
